Excursion 1: Archeological Park

Step into the fascinating world of the ancient Etruscans with an immersive 3-hour archaeological walking tour through the spectacular necropolises of Populonia, often known as the “Tuscan Petra” for their remarkable rock-cut tombs and breathtaking landscape.
Excursion 2: Winery Experience & Technical Wine Tasting with “Michele Satta” and “Casa Di Terra”
Discover the story behind one of Bolgheri’s most distinctive wineries through a guided experience that combines breathtaking views, winemaking tradition, and technical insight.
The visit begins on a panoramic terrace, where you will be introduced to the history of Bolgheri, its unique terroir, the local climate, and the vision that inspired the creation of local winery.
From there, the tour continues into the cellar, carved directly into the rock, an impressive setting where participants will learn about the winemaking philosophy and the techniques used to craft wine, from grape to bottle.
The experience concludes in the bright tasting room overlooking the sea, where you will enjoy a guided technical tasting of a selection of their signature wines. Led by their experts, the tasting offers you the opportunity to explore each wine’s distinctive characteristics while gaining a deeper understanding of the Bolgheri appellation and our approach to quality winemaking.

Excursion 3: Relax on the Baratti or Buca delle Fate Gulf
Unwind after the conference with a relaxing afternoon at the stunning Gulf of Baratti, one of Tuscany’s most picturesque coastal destinations. This optional social event offers the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow participants in a unique natural setting, combining breathtaking scenery with a leisurely outdoor experience.
The excursion begins with time to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and golden beach of the Gulf of Baratti, where participants can relax, swim, or simply take in the beautiful surroundings.
For those wishing to explore further, a scenic coastal trail leads to the Buca delle Fate (“Fairies’ Cave”), a hidden rocky cove renowned for its turquoise waters and spectacular views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The walk follows the coastline through Mediterranean woodland, offering several panoramic viewpoints along the way before reaching this enchanting natural spot. The walk to Buca delle Fate involves a moderate coastal path and requires comfortable footwear.
