REGISTRATION
For the success of the event, all participants are expected to stay at Resort Poggio all’Agnello, which serves as both the School and Conference venue.
As availability is limited, a selection phase after registration is required. During this phase, applicants will be asked to indicate their expected arrival and departure dates.
The registration form will be available at this LINK from 2nd March to 15th April. A confirmation email confirming receipt of your form will be sent within one business day.
Participants are kindly invited to consult the information regarding transportation from nearby airports to the Conference venue, reported in this website, in order to plan their travel accordingly.
FEE PAYMENT
Selected applicants will be invited to complete their registration starting from 16th April.
Registration will be considered final only upon payment of the conference fees. Payment instructions will be sent directly to the selected applicants by email (Please make sure that the payment notification is sent from the email address fomo2026-group@unifi.it ).
The School fees amounts to 500 euro.
The Conference fees amounts to 600 euro.
The School + Conference school fees amounts to 800 euro.
After the deadline of 1st June, participants who fail to complete the fee payment will be replaced by candidates from the registration waiting list.
ACCOMMODATION BOOKING AT THE SCHOOL+CONFERENCE VENUE
The Resort where the conference will be held is an exclusive venue and has agreed to reserve the entire property for conference participants.
The Organizers have negotiated a condition requiring full prepayment of accommodation one month prior to the beginning of the event.
Accordingly, participants must confirm their accommodation by paying the full cost of the reserved room directly to the Resort by 7th August.
In case this deadline is not respected, we will not be able to guarantee accommodation at the conference venue, nor the discounted rate agreed with the resort (see below). After this date, each participant will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation near the venue and transport connections. Please note that the venue is located in a very rural area with limited transport connections. In addition the participant will be charged for the meals.

Participants are kindly requested to pay careful attention to communications sent from this address.
Accommodation Rates
The following daily rates (per person):
- Single room: €139-144
- Double room: €95 (to be shared with a colleague, family member, or friend)
Students will be accommodated in multiple-occupancy appartments at the following rates (per person):
- Triple appartment: €84
- Quadruple appartment €78
- Multiple appartment: €78
Please note that a city tax of €2 per person per day will be added to the final bill. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and Social Dinner of the School and of the Conference are included in the overall participation costs, covered by the accommodation charges and the conference fee.
Scholarships
A few scholarships might become available for both the conference and the summer school. They will be awarded by the programme committee on the bases of excellence and need. Scholarship applicants should send an email to fomo2026-group@unifi.it including
- a letter of motivation
- an abstract for a poster presentation
- students arrange for a letter of support from their supervisor to be sent directly to the same address.
