Research Scientist, University of Ulm

Fabio Di Pumpo is a postdoctoral researcher at Ulm University. His research focuses on effective descriptions for composite quantum systems as fundamental-physics sensors derived from first principles, covering e.g. gravitational-wave and dark-matter detection with atomic interferometers.
He is currently involved in the formation of the Terrestrial Very-Long-Baseline Atom Interferometry (TVLBAI) and the Detector R&D 5 (DRD5) collaborations dedicated to establish the next generation of quantum sensors for fundamental-physics research
