This year, the school will be organized as follows:
- Introduction to basic experimental techniques for the preparation and manipulation of ultracold atomic samples for atom interferometry experiments with a specific attention to cooling methods.
- Description of main interferometric schemes for the detection of classical fields and inertial forces.
- Study of atom interferomtry sensitivity to general relativity effects.
- Principles of phase detection in atom interferometry and description of quantum entanglement as a tool to surpass the shot-noise limit in the phase sensitivity.
- Presentation of basic case studies of long-baseline terrestrial setups, spaceborne architectures, and compact trapped-atom interferometers.
Social Dinner
The School social dinner will take place at the beautiful seaside restaurant Canessa, featuring a seafood-based menu for those who wish to enjoy it. The social dinner is included in the School+Conference fees.
