Assistant Professor at Northwestern University.
Tim Kovachy leads a research group on atom interferometry as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and Center for Fundamental Physics at Northwestern University. He is also a co-PI of the MAGIS collaboration, which is building the 100-meter-tall MAGIS-100 atom interferometer at Fermilab. Research interests include tests of fundamental physics using atom interferometers and other precision experiments, dark matter and gravitational wave detectors, and quantum control.
