Tim Kovachy leads a\u00a0research group<\/a> on atom interferometry\u00a0as an Assistant Professor in the\u00a0Department of Physics and Astronomy<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Center for Fundamental Physics<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Northwestern University<\/a>.\u00a0 He is also a co-PI of the MAGIS collaboration, which is building the 100-meter-tall\u00a0MAGIS-100<\/a>\u00a0atom interferometer at\u00a0Fermilab<\/a>.\u00a0 Research interests include tests of fundamental physics using atom interferometers and other precision experiments, dark matter and gravitational wave detectors, and quantum control.
