He was a postdoctoral researcher at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.institutoptique.fr\/en\">Institut d\u2019Optique (Palaiseau, France) <\/a>from 2007 to 2011, and since 2011 he is a researcher at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ino.cnr.it\/\">National Institute of Optics (INO-CNR)<\/a>, where he has served as Senior Researcher since 2019. He is the author of about 80 papers in journals including Nature, Science, Nature Physics, and Physical Review Letters, with <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=WfFJVhUAAAAJ&amp;hl=it&amp;oi=ao\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more than 10,000 citations<\/a><br>His research focuses on theoretical quantum sensing, especially exploiting squeezing and entanglement for precision measurements, with atomic and optical interferometers.
