Peter Hommelhoff
Peter Hommelhoff is professor of physics at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in Erlangen, Germany. His main research interest comprise ultrafast electron matter wave control with the help of laser-driven nanophotonic structures, ultrafast electron matter wave control inside of graphene with phase-controlled few cycle light fields, attosecond physics at the surface of needle tips and quantum-enhanced electron microscopy. He recently received the Leibniz Prize of the DFG, the Innovation Prize of the Leibinger Foundation and an ERC Advanced Grant.
