The FOMO-Lectures stand in a long tradition of summer schools held as preparation of the FOMO conference<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FOMO<\/strong> was started in 2010, aimed at providing a focus for the atom-optics community with a combination of a 1-week Summer School and a 1-week Workshop. It has then become the largest bi-annual conference in the \ufb01eld of matter wave science. Already six FOMO meetings have taken place, always with the same proven structure of a Summer School and a high-level Workshop in the second week. FOMO2020<\/a> was postponed due to the COVID pandemic, and an online FOMO Lecture Series on Matter Wave Interferometry took place in 2021, with a huge participation of young students and post-docs, but — again due to COVD constraints — in a purely virtual way<\/p>\n\n\n\n
